संग्रामदुर्ग – चाकणच्या भुईकोट किल्ल्याला शाईस्तेखानाचा वेढा पडला. हा वेढा तब्बल ५६ दिवस चालला. तोफा बंदुकांचा काही उपयोग होत नाही, हे पाहिल्यावर शायीस्ताखानाने भुयार खणून सुरुंग ठासण्याची आज्ञा केली. आतल्या मराठ्यांना जर या भुयाराची कल्पना आली असती तर कदाचित खंदकातील पाणी त्यात सोडून सुरुंग नाकाम करता आले असते. ३००-३५० लोकांनीशी फिरंगोजी नरसाळ्याने चाकण झुंजवत ठेवला होता. १४ ऑगस्ट १६६० रोजी मुघलांनी सुरुंगाला बत्ती दिली.पूर्वेच्या कोपरयाचा बुरुज अस्मानात उडाला. त्यावरचे मराठेही हवेत उडाले. आरोळ्या ठोकत मुघल त्या खिंडाराकडे धावले. फिरांगोजीनीही वाट न पाहता ते खिंडार लढवण्याची तयारी केली. तो पूर्ण दिवस मराठ्यांनी जोमाने लढाई केली. दुसऱ्या दिवशी राव भावसिन्हामार्फत मराठे किल्ल्याबाहेर आले आणि मुघलांनी चाकणचा संग्रामदुर्ग जिंकला.🚩🏇🏻🚩🏇🏻🚩🏇🏻🚩🏇🏻🚩🏇🏻🚩 जय जगदंब जय जिजाऊ जय शिवराय जय शंभूराजेJune 21, 1674

Sangramdurg - The Bhuikot fort of Chakan was besieged by Shaistekhana. The siege lasted for 56 days. Seeing that the guns were of no use, Shaistakhana ordered a trench to be dug. If the inner Marathas had come up with the idea of this basement, they might have been able to thwart the mine by leaving water in the ditch. Firangoji Narsala had kept Chakan struggling with 300-350 people. On 14th August 1660, the Mughals gave light to the mine. The eastern corner tower was blown up in the sky. The Marathas also flew on it. Screaming, the Mughals ran towards the gorge. Firangozini also prepared to fight the gap without waiting. The Marathas fought hard all day. The next day, the Marathas came out of the fort through Rao Bhavsinha and the Mughals conquered the battlefield of Chakan.
